Setting the Standard
Can you imagine a next door neighbor, family member or friend who’s only thought is how to stay away from another angry fist or another face-shattering slap?
Our agency leads the charge of raising awareness regarding domestic violence.
Help us by becoming an advocate for Abigail’s Arms.

Our one day “Agents of Change” training is the first step in volunteering. Agents of Change is a basic over all view of what we do and how. Basic volunteer forms will be completed at the training allowing us to document your volunteer time for our grants and funding reports.
With this training you can work out in the community and assist with booths, fairs, civic events…and so many other ways.
Agents of Change (7 hours) + Advocate training (26 classroom hours) + At home study (8 hours)
This section completes our OAG Certification course. Upon completion we certify that you have had 40 hours of training in advocacy. Prior to class a Volunteer Application must be completed and on file with our office.
This certification allows you to work directly with clients, anything from assisting with a class or support group to working the front desk or being a Life Coach. Many opportunities to help.
